The “Kirana”
Our floating home, and the most beautiful place to live!
Kirana is a Bavaria 42 with four cabins, built in 2001. It was one of the Bavarias that helped make the yacht builder the name it is today. She still has the touch of a classic yacht, without a broad stern.
A saloon with galley, two bathrooms, four cabins, my little office corner. Everything you need to live. And you always have to remember: others have crossed the Atlantic in boats half this size, while we rather cowardly creep along the coast… 😂
Why Kirana?
We bought her already under the name “Kirana”. And because the name itself, the unique meaning the boat had for us from the very beginning, and the meaning “the sunbeam, the shimmer, the glow” suited her completely, we did not want to change it. Like the boat herself, it is perfect!
